Advocates in Action is Rhode Island's Statewide Self-Advocacy organization. Our Board of Directors is composed of individuals who have developmental disabilities. Board members represent groups of people who also have developmental disabilities from all over RI.
Self-Advocacy means finding out what's important, speaking up and making a difference. We've set this area of our website up to help people do just that.
We don't claim to have all of the information, but we will share what we can.
